#162 When Johanna was in the arena with Katniss, tensions rose quickly. Katniss didn’t quite understand why Johanna ‘hated’ her so much. Johanna did have a reason though. The moment she laid eyes on Peeta, she physically saw the love he had for Katniss, and how he would do anything for her. And it killed Johanna inside to know that she never had anyone truly love her like Peeta loved Katniss. She was all alone, in a world filled with people who didn’t even seem to care about her feelings, so she masked them with anger and strength. But inside, it just about broke her heart to know that she had no one, and that made her want to cry.
